NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nissan announced that it is promoting Tim Gilbert to vice president, Dealer Network Development, Customer Resources and Training, Nissan and INFINITI, effective February. In this role, Gilbert will oversee dealer network development operations for both the Nissan and INFINITI brands in the U.S. and Canada, along with training responsibilities for the field organization and dealership employees in the U.S.
Gilbert currently serves as regional vice president for the Nissan Southeast Region. Since joining Nissan in 2006, his career has spanned multiple field and leadership roles such as director of Dealer Network Development and director of Dealer Network Strategy. He will be based in Franklin, Tennessee, and report to Tiago Castro, senior vice president, U.S. Marketing & Sales, Nissan and INFINITI.
Gilbert will succeed Steve Milette, who has been appointed managing director, Oceania.
Backfilling Gilbert is Matt Ericson, appointed to the position of regional vice president, Nissan Southeast Region. Ericson's career at Nissan also began in 2006 and has spanned multiple areas, including executive leadership roles in Chief Marketing Management; Marketing Operations; and Global Sales Operations. He will be based in Atlanta, and will report to Arcangelo Lofaro, Vice President, Nissan Sales & Regional Operations, Nissan U.S.
